Asel and Sustainability

We give sustainability the high priority it deserves. Why? Because we believe that every community's economic, social and environmental systems should provide a healthy, productive, meaningful life for it's residents, past and future. Which is why we take great care to use sustainable materials and techniques wherever possible. We use natural fibre insulation. Because we build sustainability in to refurbishment projects at the design stage, there are no extra costs. We evaluate buildings against various respected environmental rating systems. We monitor the amount of CO2 emitted by refurbishment projects. All the timber we use is certified by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC), an organisation dedicated to promoting responsible forest management worldwide. In a nutshell, we've placed sustainability right at the heart of our organisation.

Driven by consumer and commercial demand, sustainability and the environment are two of today's biggest concerns. ASEL is committed to keeping abreast of developments in sustainability. We're always keen to implement new ideas and technologies. Many materials that were previously impossible to recycle are now easily recyclable, for instance plasterboard.
